Meet The Doctors

Chris Kelly DDS

Dr. Chris Kelly grew up on Vancouver Island, immersed in the outdoors. He attended the University of Western Ontario in London. After two years of undergraduate Biology, he was accepted into Dental school as the youngest member of his class. He graduated Dental school in 2005, followed by a General Practice Residency at UBC - a specialized training program at Vancouver General Hospital, the UBC Dental Specialty clinic, and the BC Cancer Agency. Dr. Kelly spent the early days of his career practicing in Lillooet and Abbotsford, BC. He has been working at Diamond Head Dental since 2013 and is very happy to call Squamish home!

Dr. Kelly is a member of the Canadian Dental Association, British Columbia Dental Association, and the British Columbia College of Dental Surgeons. In addition to local continuing education courses, Dr. Kelly is a graduate of the prestigious Kois Center for Dentistry (koiscenter.com) in Seattle, Washington. The Kois Center allows Dr. Kelly to stay up-to-date on research with some of the best dentists in the world. 

Dr. Kelly's wife, Dr. Rachel Kelly, is a Family Physician in Squamish. He has two young daughters and is fully immersed in our wonderful community. You will often see Dr. Kelly out on the trails or ski slopes. 



Heather O'Keefe

Dr. Heather O'Keefe is excited to be a part of the team at Diamond Head Dental and looks forward to continuing to provide comfortable and quality dental care for the community of Squamish.

Dr. O'Keefe grew up in Kelowna. She then moved to the coast to attend the University of British Columbia, where she completed her Bachelor of Science and Dental degrees. After graduating in 2008, she worked as a locum dentist on the coast and in the Kootenays, which allowed her to gain valuable experience in all aspects of dentistry. Following this she settled into her other current practice in Kitsilano where she has worked since 2010. She and her husband moved to Squamish in 2013, where she has lived and also worked since. Dr. O'Keefe finds her heart is at home in the friendly and vibrant town of Squamish, and particularly enjoys the people,
natural beauty, and outdoor recreation.

Committed to staying current with the latest techniques and technologies, Dr. O'Keefe frequently attends courses and has been a member of various study clubs. For the past 6 years she has received hands-on training as a  member of the Vancouver Perio Pros  Study Club. She also has advanced training in Invisalign. 

When she's not in the office, you can probably find Dr. O'Keefe adventuring with her husband, snowboarding in Whistler or exploring the mountain bike trails of Squamish.
